Our story
Twelve years, one town, clients everywhere
Araneux started in 2014, when Hussain came home to Surat after leading engineering teams in Mumbai and began taking client work under his own name. Clients kept coming back and sending friends, and it grew into a studio: web apps, mobile apps and backend systems for companies all over the world.
From 2017 to 2019 we went deep on blockchain and led smart contract work on four products. When language models got good enough to do real work, we moved there. These days most of what we build is AI that sits inside a business: agents that sort and act on incoming work, assistants that answer from a company's own documents, and the software around them.
We've stayed small on purpose. At our busiest we had a room full of developers in Surat. Today it's Hussain, a few senior engineers we've known for years, and a lot of AI. We use Claude, Codex and our own agent tooling on every project, which is how three people can deliver what used to take ten.
One thing hasn't changed since 2014. The person who scopes your project builds it, and answers the phone once it's live.

Eighteen years of shipping software. Gold medal in Computer Science at VNSGU, tech lead at Zycus, lead blockchain developer on four products, and now an AI and forward deployed engineer for startups and enterprises in the US, Europe and Asia. He's also building Altrun, a multi-channel AI assistant.

2008
Hussain starts out leading a small web team in Surat.
2010
Tech lead at Zycus in Mumbai, on enterprise procurement software.
2014
Araneux opens in Surat. Web, mobile and backend work for clients abroad.
2017
Blockchain years: smart contracts on Ethereum and QTUM for four products.
2023
AI takes over the workload. ChatGPT assistants, RAG and LLM integrations.
2026
Agents running for clients, and Altrun, our own AI assistant, goes into beta.
