Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Araneux Systems ("Araneux", "we") collects through https://araneux.com, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this website only. Client projects are governed by the contract and data processing terms we sign with each client.

What we collect

• What you send us. When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, company, the kind of work you need, budget range and message.
• Basic analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting, for a short period.

We don't use advertising cookies, we don't sell personal data, and we don't build marketing profiles.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and run a project if we work together. Our legal basis is your request (taking steps before a contract) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.

Who processes it

• Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and provides analytics.
• Resend delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
• Google Workspace hosts our email.

These providers may process data outside India, under their own standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted within 24 months. Project correspondence is kept for as long as contracts and tax law require.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the GDPR or other law that applies to you. Email hello@araneux.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
