Contracts, payments and IP
Do you charge for discovery?
The first calls are free. A deeper discovery with a written scope, architecture and estimate is a small fixed fee, and we take it off the build price if you go ahead.
Who owns the code and IP?
You do, from the first commit. The code lives in your repository and runs in your cloud account. We'll sign your NDA and IP assignment before we see anything sensitive.
How do payments work?
Fixed-scope builds are paid by milestone. Sprints and retainers are billed monthly in advance. We invoice in USD, EUR, GBP or INR.
What if the scope changes?
It usually does. Small changes fit inside the build. Bigger ones get a short written change note with cost and timing before anyone starts on them.
Can we start small?
Yes, and we'd recommend it. Most clients start with one workflow or one feature, watch it work for a few weeks, then decide what's next.
